Our ESG Commitment

Our ESG approach combines environmental stewardship, positive social impact and accountable governance across our agriculture systems and global value chains.

Environmental: We support soil health, water stewardship, climate-smart production, biodiversity, resource efficiency, responsible input use and practical steps to reduce waste and emissions.

Social: We promote safe working conditions, fair opportunity, skills development, gender and youth inclusion, farmer livelihoods, community wellbeing and respectful partnerships.

Governance: We encourage ethical conduct, transparent decisions, traceability, risk management, responsible finance, compliance monitoring and clear measurement of our progress.

Through this approach, we aim to create lasting value for farmers, workers, partners, customers and the communities connected to our work.

Our GAP Approach

Our Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) approach supports safe, responsible and traceable production from farm to market. We help strengthen the systems that protect people, crops, animals, natural resources and product quality.

Safe production: We promote clean facilities, safe water, hygienic handling, responsible storage and practical controls that reduce contamination risks.

Responsible inputs: We encourage careful use of seed, fertiliser, crop protection products, feed and other inputs, supported by training, records and appropriate application practices.

Worker and community protection: We support protective equipment, safe working conditions, health awareness, skills development and respect for the people and communities involved in production.

Traceability and quality: We encourage clear records, supplier accountability, quality checks, post-harvest handling, transport controls and continuous improvement so products can move confidently into local and global markets.
