RUAIPP is a transformative national and regional framework, powered by Moringa Oleifera as anchor crop, unlocking 46 high-value crops, building a unified, competitive, industrialised agricultural ecosystem, and aiming for a people-centred USD 171M agricultural economy by 2030 across several African countries.
Innovative Production Model
Agriculture-Based Clusters (ABCs) serve as advanced structural frameworks designed to synchronize the efforts of farmers, industrial processors, financiers, international donors, and academic institutions. By fostering powerful backward and forward linkages, these clusters maximize economies of scale and evolve rural landscapes into thriving industrialization centers. The ABC model elevates smallholders from subsistence farming to high-value commercial agriculture, ensuring local production is seamlessly integrated into global value chains. A primary pillar of this ecosystem is the targeted empowerment of youth and women, providing them with specialized technical training, enterprise development support, and lucrative export opportunities to secure a sustainable economic future.
